Job Overview

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our healthcare team in providing high-quality patient care. As a CNA, you will assist patients with daily living activities, monitor and report changes in their condition, and support nurses and other healthcare professionals in delivering exceptional care. Your role is essential in ensuring patients are comfortable, safe, and treated with dignity and respect.

Certification as a Nursing Assistant and compliance with state certification requirements are essential for this position. Current BLS/CPR certification is preferred. Strong communication skills, a caring attitude, and the ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team are key to success in this role.

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
• Take and record patient vital signs, such as temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
• Observe patients and promptly report changes in their physical or emotional condition to the nursing staff.
• Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and repositioning to ensure comfort and prevent injury.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient care records and documentation.
• Help keep patient rooms clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
• Assist with meal setup and monitor patients' food and fluid intake as directed.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
• Follow infection control, safety, and privacy policies in accordance with healthcare regulations.
• Support registered nurses and other healthcare professionals with patient care tasks as assigned.
