Certified Nursing Assistant

St. George Surgical Center is looking to hire a full-time CNA. Pay will be discussed during interview process.

Responsibilities: - Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician. - Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals. - Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and heart rate. - Assist in wound care and suture removal. - Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans. - Document patient information accurately and timely in electronic medical records systems such as Epic or eClinicalWorks. - Safely lift and transfer patients using proper body mechanics and equipment. - Assist with airway management and emergency procedures when necessary.

Experience: - Previous experience as a nursing assistant or in a similar role is preferred but not required. - Knowledge of medication administration procedures and protocols is desirable. - Experience working with electronic medical records systems is beneficial.
