Job Description

Piedmont Rheumatology is a private medical practice located in Hickory. With 4 Medical Doctors and an Infusion center, we are growing and looking to hire additional CNA staff. Office and staff hours are Monday – Thursday 7:30 am to 5:00 pm.

Starting pay based on experience and skill.

Responsibilities

· Demonstrate effective computer skills.

· Ability to take manual blood pressure, pulse and respirations, height, and weight of patients.

· Knowledge of or ability to perform injections.

· Chart in our EHR, answer phones, take and distribute messages in a timely and professional manner providing complete and accurate information

· Assist with medication refills, prior authorizations & referrals.

· Well-Organized, punctual, courteous, and professional

· Demonstrate good customer service skills when interacting with patients, families, and visitors.

· Exhibit effective communication skills and teamwork.

· Maintain compliance with established safety and regulatory guidelines, including HIPAA, OSHA, and infection prevention policies and procedures.

Education Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required. No licensure or certification is required. Professional Experience Requirements.

CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) certification that is current and active.

Phlebotomy Certification is a plus but not required.

Full-Time Benefits

After 90 days full-time employees are eligible. –

- PDO – Paid time off.

After 1 year of employment, full-time employees (20 years and older) are eligible during open enrollment for 401k. With practice matching up to a set percentage and profit sharing.
