Certified Nursing Assistant (SEIU), Full-time, Night shift

Located in Templeton amongst the oak trees, Adventist Health Twin Cities has been serving northern San Luis Obispo County since 1977. Comprised of a 122-bed acute care facility, our team provides exceptional care in emergency medicine, orthopedics, obstetrics, digestive disorders, wound care, and various medical, surgical and outpatient services. Job Summary

Provides personal nursing care to the patient under the direction of a licensed registered nurse (RN). Performs tasks associated with activities of daily living including self-care needs. Performs routine assigned tasks and reports patients’ status and concerns to the RN. This position is represented by SEIU.

Education and Work Experience

* High School Education/GED or equivalent: Preferred Licenses/Certifications:

* Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required * Phlebotomy Certification: Preferred * Audiometry and vision training or have a certificate from CHDP: Preferred * Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification: Required Facility Specific License/Certifications:

• Performs tasks associated with activities of daily living, including assisting with nutrition and hydration, elimination, personal care, positioning devices, restraints and restorative care.
• Takes vital signs including, pulse and blood pressure.
• Helps patients with their basic needs, i.e., bathing, dressing and feeding.
