Certified Nursing Assistant

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in home care environments. You will play a crucial role in supporting patients with daily activities, monitoring their health status, and ensuring their comfort and safety.

Duties

• Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
• Monitor vital signs and report any changes in patient conditions to the nursing staff.
• Provide support for patients with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, and other cognitive impairments.
• Medication reminder as directed and assist with medical documentation.
• Assist with mobility using equipment such as Hoyer lifts and wheelchairs.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment by adhering to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care
• Engage with patients in a compassionate manner to promote emotional well-being.
• Support patients with special needs, including those requiring hospice or palliative care.

Qualifications

• Current certification as a Nursing Assistant in accordance with state regulations.
• Experience in home care is required, two years with Alzheimer's and Dementia
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
