Position Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our nursing team. The CNA provides direct resident care under the supervision of a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN), ensuring residents receive quality care in accordance with Florida regulations and facility policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding
  • Monitor and record vital signs, weight, intake and output
  • Provide mobility assistance, including transfers and ambulation
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
  • Respond promptly to resident call lights and requests
  • Observe and report changes in residents’ physical or mental condition to nursing staff
  • Document care provided accurately and timely in electronic health records
  • Promote residents’ rights, dignity, and independence
  • Follow infection control and safety procedures in compliance with Florida Department of Health guidelines

Qualifications

  • Active Florida CNA license in good standing with the Florida Board of Nursing
  • Current CPR/BLS certification
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care

Work Schedule

  • Part Time
  • 8-hour
  • Day and Evening Shifts!
