Certified Nursing Assistant

Job Summary

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will provide personalized care and support to adults, seniors and children based on their individual needs. Responsibilities include assisting with personal care, mobility, adult daily living activities, maintaining a safe, supportive and comfortable home environment and provide compassionate, hands on care to clients in their homes while maintaining their comfort, dignity, safety and overall well being.

Duties

• Assist clients with activities of adult daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming and personal hygiene
• Provide assistance with changing clothes, toileting and showering as needed
• Assist with standing, walking, mobility and safely transferring in and out of bed or chairs
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed
• Provide supervision and assistance throughout the shift to maintain safety and prevent accidents
• Maintain a clean, safe and comfortable home environment
• Observe and report changes in client‘s condition or care needs to family members or the company

Skills

• Required: Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license and the ability to provide respectful, dependable and compassionate care
• Required: Current CPR and First Aid certification
• Able to provide patient, compassionate and dependable one on one care
• Able to provide adult daily living, personal care, mobility assistance and basic healthcare practices
• Able to assist clients of different ages including adults, seniors and children
• Able to follow care plans and communicate changes or concerns
• Strong communication skills, patience, responsibility and the ability to create a safe and supportive environment.

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16.0 per week
