Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Live-In Vacation Coverage.

Position: Live-In Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Coverage Dates: August 12 – August 31

Pay: $215 per day

I am seeking an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide live-in vacation coverage for an 83-year-old female client.

Required Qualifications

• Current CNA certification.
• Hands-on experience caring for a client with diabetes.
• Experience using a Dexcom G7 Continuous Glucose Monitor (CGM).
• Experience managing an Omnipod 5 insulin pump.
• Dexcom G7 sensor changes every 15 days.
• Omnipod 5 pod changes every 3 days.
• Must be a safe, licensed driver with reliable driving experience.
• Must speak and understand excellent English.
• Must be dependable, compassionate, patient, and professional.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living and personal care.
• Monitor and support diabetes management.
• Change the Dexcom G7 sensor and Omnipod 5 pod as scheduled.
• Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping related to the client’s care.
• Drive the client to doctors’ appointments.
• Take the client grocery shopping and on community outings.
• Accompany the client to play games and enjoy recreational activities.
• Provide companionship while ensuring the client’s safety, comfort, and well-being.

This position is for vacation coverage only, from August 12 through August 30.

Pay: $215.00 per day
