Duties

• Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and comfort
• Monitor and record vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates with precision and adherence to protocol.
• Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or other memory impairments, utilizing techniques like memory care strategies and aseptic techniques
• Operate assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts safely to prevent injury during patient transfers and manual handling tasks
• Maintain a clean, safe environment by following infection control procedures and proper use of EMR/EHR systems for documentation.

Requirements

• Valid CNA certification from an accredited program in good standing.
• Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting safely using proper lifting practices; experience with Hoyer lifts is a plus
• Compassionate caregiving skills with experience supporting patients with complex needs.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members while maintaining HIPAA compliance
