We set high standards for customer service, quality, and keeping costs under control. * POSITION SUMMARY + The CNA assists in the delivery of direct resident care under the supervision of a nurse and receives written and/or verbal assignments and directions. * POSITION QUALIFICATIONS + Minimum Education - High School Diploma or equivalent - To remain eligible for automatic acceptance into the EAH LPN Program, participants must earn a “C” or higher in each prerequisite course - Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 - Achieve a minimum TEAS score of 65% by communicated deadline - Must work minimum of 24 hours per week at EAMC Lanier Nursing Home for EAH to cover the cost of the six prerequisite courses required for admission to the on-site Practical Nursing (PN) program + Minimum Experience - N/A + Required Registration/License/Certification - Nursing Assistant Certification - BLS within 90 days of DOH/transfer + Preferred Education - N/A + Preferred Experience - One-year or more nursing home experience. + Preferred Registration/License/Certification
