Job Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our healthcare team for ALL shifts from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM or 6:00PM-6:00AM.

*Shift differential for overnight hours!*

This full-time position offers an opportunity to provide exceptional patient care in a dynamic environment, supporting patients across various care settings including long-term care, acute care, and specialized units. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in medical terminology, patient service, and EMR/EHR systems, with experience in diverse clinical environments such as hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living, or home care. Candidates must demonstrate excellent communication skills and a commitment to maintaining patient dignity and comfort.

Duties

• Provide direct patient care including assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts.
• Monitor and record vital signs accurately and report changes to nursing staff promptly.
• Assist with medication administration following proper protocols and HIPAA regulations.
• Support patients with specialized needs such as Alzheimer’s, dementia, memory care, or behavioral health conditions.
• Maintain aseptic techniques during procedures such as catheter care and wound management.
• Document patient information thoroughly within EMR/EHR systems like Cerner or eClinicalWorks.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in acute, post-acute, outpatient, or inpatient settings to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Adhere to infection control standards and safety protocols across all duties.
• Assist in patient transfers using appropriate equipment like Hoyer lifts and ensure safety at all times.
• Support family members and visitors by providing information and compassionate assistance.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
