CNA | Certified Nursing Aide

Whitney Nursing and Rehabilitation is an 88-bed facility designed with a compact layout. The shorter distances between resident rooms and the nurse station keep floor teams close together, making it easier to collaborate and find assistance when needed.

Our facility relies on structured routines to ensure floor handoffs occur on time. Supplies are organized and fully stocked before each shift begins, and team members regularly assist one another with transfers and heavy care rounds.

Pay, Schedule & Benefits

• Pay Rate: Starting at $18/hour.
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts ((6AM-6PM or 6:00PM-6AM) on a rotating schedule, including every other weekend off.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care and assist with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Answer call lights promptly to ensure resident safety.
• Turn and position residents according to individual care plans.
• Complete daily documentation accurately before clocking out.
• Support teammates on the floor during heavy care rounds.

Qualifications

• Active Texas Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certificate.
• Must pass a criminal background check (legal requirement for Skilled Nursing Facilities).
• Must be able to pass a drug screening.
• Must have reliable transportation for dependable attendance.
