Position Summary

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will play a vital role in providing compassionate, high-quality care to our residents. Working alongside our nursing team, you will assist residents with daily living activities while promoting dignity, comfort, and independence.

Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
  • Assist with oral and dental care.
  • Provide bowel and bladder care, including peri-care and catheter care.
  • Transfer and position residents safely in beds, chairs, and wheelchairs.
  • Take and record vital signs.
  • Observe residents and report changes in condition to the nursing staff.
  • Document care accurately in accordance with facility policies.
  • Follow infection control and HIPAA guidelines.
  • Provide compassionate, resident-centered care in a team environment.

Qualifications

  • Current Alabama Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification or enrolled in an approved CNA training program.
  • Must be in good standing with the State of Alabama.
