CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant - MON - FRI 2p-10p Shift

Job Overview: Monday - Friday 2pm-10pm We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will provide essential support to nurses and other medical staff in delivering high-quality patient care. Duties: - Assist with daily patient care activities, including bathing, dressing, and feeding - Take and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse - Maintain a clean environment - Collect specimens for laboratory testing - Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in electronic medical record systems such as PCC - Monitor patients for any changes in condition and report concerns to the nursing staff - Assist with mobility and transfers of patients, ensuring their safety at all times - Provide emotional support to patients and their families during their stay - Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure effective communication and coordination of care - Follow infection control protocols to maintain a safe and clean environment

Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent required - Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required - Previous experience working with patients in a long-term care facility is highly desirable - Experience working with individuals with dementia - Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with others in a team environment - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Proficient in using electronic medical record systems such as PCC - Knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures - Ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously
