CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant - NOC Shift

The Gables in Brigham City is an Assisted Living and Memory Care for the elderly. We are looking for compassionate, hard working, honest, and reliable individuals with a CNA Certification to join our team. Must be outgoing, fun, love the elderly and have the ability to take great care of our residents.

The ideal candidate will be patient and friendly with excellent communication skills. You should be able to follow instructions and assist our residents with activities of daily living.

Responsibilities

• Help residents take prescribed medication (Must have Med Certification)
• Assist residents with ambulation and mobility around the community
• Assist residents with personal care and hygiene
• Help residents with physical therapy exercises
• Cooking
• Perform light housekeeping duties that residents can’t complete on their own
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion
• Report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

Skills

• Have CNA Certification
• Proven experience as a caregiver
• Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid (CPR)
• Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
• Respectful and compassionate
• Good time management skills
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong ethics
• High school diploma or equivalent
