Job Title: Nursing Assistant

Duties: - Provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses - Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding - Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse - Assist with patient mobility and transfers - Collect specimens for laboratory testing - Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals - Monitor patients and report any changes in their condition to the nursing staff - Document patient care activities in electronic medical records (EMR) systems, such as Epic - Assist with procedures, such as spinal taps, gastric lavage, and ventilator management - Provide emotional support to patients and their families

Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent - Completion of a nursing assistant or certified nursing assistant (CNA) program - Current certification as a nursing assistant or CNA - Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures - Experience working with patients in various healthcare settings, including pediatrics and behavioral health - Familiarity with medical equipment and devices, such as dialysis machines (dialyze) and durable medical equipment (DME) - Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
