Our CNAs provide individualized and quality resident care under the direction of our Nursing team.

Summary

Provides direct care to residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being, while maintaining a clean and safe environment. Supports nurses and assists with resident care plans and assessments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide daily direct care to residents, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and assisting with food consumption, transfers, and ambulation.
• Offer emotional support to residents, fostering trust and communication with them and their families.
• Monitor and report changes in resident conditions to the Charge Nurse.
• Assist with health needs by accurately measuring vital signs, intake/output, and food consumption. Document care and assist during treatments and medical procedures.
• Maintain safety and infection control practices. Respond promptly to call lights or alarms and report any safety concerns.
• Participate in care planning, implementation, and evaluation, communicating suggestions to the Charge Nurse.
• Perform administrative functions such as prioritizing tasks, attending meetings, reviewing policies, and completing required in-service education.
• Assist with quality assessments, surveys, and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; at least one year of related experience preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
