CNA/CHHA Full Time ALL SHIFTS

Overview

The Home Health Aide plays a vital role in providing compassionate care and support to individuals in their homes. This position involves assisting clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and safety, and promoting their overall well-being. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient care and have the ability to work independently while collaborating with healthcare professionals.

Duties

• Provide personal care services, including bathing, grooming, and dressing assistance.
• Assist clients with mobility and transfers to ensure their safety.
• Monitor and document patient health by maintaining accurate medical records.
• Support clients with meal preparation and dietary needs while promoting healthy eating habits.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.
• Assist with hospice care as needed, providing emotional support to clients and their families.
• Communicate effectively with healthcare providers regarding any changes in client conditions or needs.

Skills

• Strong understanding of patient care principles and practices.
• Experience with Alis charting system.
• Ability to maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
• Compassionate approach to home care, ensuring dignity and respect for all clients.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Ability to perform cleaning tasks to maintain a hygienic living environment for clients.
• Experience in assisting individuals with disabilities or chronic illnesses is preferred.
