CNA/CHHA – In-Home Veteran Care

We are seeking experienced, energetic, and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Certified Home Health Aides (CHHAs) to provide personalized care for veterans throughout the Oklahoma City metro area and surrounding communities.

Our clients have a variety of care needs, including assistance with daily living activities, memory challenges, anxiety, mobility limitations, and ALS. We are looking for reliable caregivers who are committed to helping veterans remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their homes.

Pay Rate

$16.00–$18.75 per hour, depending on experience.

Schedule

Flexible scheduling with weekday and weekend shifts available. We strive to match caregivers with assignments that complement their availability and experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, personal hygiene, and other daily living activities.
• Provide mobility assistance, transfers, and support with physical limitations.
• Establish structured daily routines and help organize activities.
• Encourage appropriate light exercise, companionship, and local outings.
• Provide supportive care for veterans experiencing anxiety, memory impairment, or ALS.
• Monitor clients for changes in condition and communicate concerns promptly.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment.
• Follow individualized care plans while promoting dignity, independence, and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Current CNA and/or CHHA certification required.
• Previous home care or personal care experience preferred.
• Experience with ALS, memory care, or anxiety-related conditions is a plus.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
• Must successfully pass a background check.
• Must provide professional references.
• Strong communication skills, dependability, and a compassionate attitude.
• Ability to work independently in a home care setting.
