Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) working full-time day shifts from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. in a vibrant, patient-centered environment committed to delivering exceptional care. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide vital support to patients across diverse settings, including long-term care, acute care, and community-based services. As a CNA, you will play a crucial role in enhancing patient comfort, safety, and well-being through compassionate assistance and meticulous attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver direct patient care by assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary.
  • Monitor and record vital signs, observe changes in patient conditions, and communicate findings promptly to nursing staff.
  • Support infection control protocols by practicing aseptic techniques and adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy and medical documentation.
  • Assist with medical procedures including catheter care, medication administration under supervision, and basic life support when required.
  • Maintain accurate medical records using electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner; document patient interactions thoroughly and timely.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in settings like hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or outpatient clinics to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Use specialized skills such as phlebotomy or working with individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia to enhance patient outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Valid CNA certification with current licensure in the state of practice.
  • Experience working in diverse healthcare environments such as hospitals (including ICU or Level I Trauma Centers), long-term care facilities, or home & community care settings.
