CNA - Full-Time Nights - Recovery Care

We are looking for an experienced CNA to care for patients postoperatively in our Recovery Care area. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with orthopedic, neurosurgery, and spine.

Shift Details

- 36 hours per week, Monday - Sunday, 6:00pm - 6:30am

- Pay range starts at $17 and is built based on experience, plus differentials

Responsibilities

• Deliver the highest quality nursing care in a non-judgmental and non-discriminating manner, sensitive to patient needs
• Contribute to the team-oriented environment by demonstrating cooperative, constructive, problem-solving interaction with coworkers
• Assist patients with ADLs, transport from surgery to inpatient unit
• Take post-op vitals, measure intake/output and enter into Cerner
• Assist patients with discharge from the hospital
• Work closely with Registered Nurses

Requirements

• Current certification as a CNA in the State of Nebraska
• Current BLS certification
• At least one to two years of med/surg, intensive care, or other CNA experience in the last 3-5 years
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs frequently, push/pull up to 25 lbs frequently; frequent standing, bending, stooping, and repetitive motion to hands/wrists
