CNA/HCA

Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated CNA/HCAto provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities.

This position has a fixed schedule 7am to 7pm Monday through Thursday or split day shifts.

As a caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our 4 clients, ensuring their comfort and safety while promoting their independence. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations, including seniors and individuals with disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Help clients with mobility and transfers using equipment such as Hoyer lifts.
• Administer medications as prescribed and monitor client health status.
• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Document patient care activities accurately in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals regarding client needs and progress.
• Support clients with meal preparation and nutritional needs.
• Assist with basic life support measures when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of client information.

Requirements

• Experience in caregiving or related fields such as senior care, home care, or long-term care is preferred.
• Familiarity with medical terminology, medical documentation.
• Understanding of anatomy and physiology; knowledge of vital signs monitoring is essential.
• Ability to work effectively with hearing impaired, dementia care experience is beneficial.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
