CNA-In Home Caregiver

Duties

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting to promote comfort and dignity.
• Support clients with mobility and transfers.
• Provide specialized dementia, Alzheimer’s, memory care, and hospice support to enhance quality of life during challenging health conditions
• Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines while documenting medical records and care activities precisely
• Engage in light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and ensuring a safe environment aligned with client needs

Skills

• Proven experience working with geriatric patients, and those requiring long-term or hospice care
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, vital signs measurement, medication administration, and basic life support (BLS) including CPR certification
• Familiarity with home health care assistance tools such as patient transfer techniques
• Ability to observe patient conditions meticulously and communicate effectively with clients and healthcare teams
• Experience working with in home caregiving
• Compassionate caregiving skills tailored to dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, memory care, and end-of-life situations
• Knowledge of home & community care regulations along with safety procedures for heavy lifting and patient handling

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
