Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Patient Care Technician (PCT) positions.

CURRENT WORK SCHEDULE OPENINGS

General/Trauma Surgery Unit

* 90% FTE (36 hours per week), Night Shift Inpatient Trauma Rehabilitation Unit:

* 90% FTE (36 hours per week), Day shift

Neuro Acute Care Unit

* 90% FTE (36 hours per week), Night shift

Psych ICU

* 90% FTE (36 hours per week), Night shift

Trauma/Surgical ICU

* 90% FTE (36 hours per week), Night shift

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Direct and indirect care to patients and their families under the general supervision of the Registered Nurse
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living: bathing, showering, dressing, getting in and out of bed or a chair, walking, using the toilet, and eating
  • Maintain a safe environment of care
  • Patient transportation
  • Prepare patients for surgery
  • Perform non-invasive lab procedures
  • Transport equipment and supplies
  • Assist with treatments
  • Perform various clerical tasks
  • Take vital signs

REQUIREMENTS

  • Current, valid Certified Nursing Assistant Certification (NAC) with WA State *(please indicate your NA-C credential number on your resume)*
  • High School graduation and six months experience involving direct patient care or customer service in a health care setting; OR equivalent education/experience.
  • Valid American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider CPR card by start date
