Northwoods Memory Care Suites is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and dedicated CNA / Resident Assistant to join our team.

Position Details

• Position: Full-Time CNA / Resident Assistant
• Shift: Day shift, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM or 7:00 AM–1:00 PM
• Schedule: Weekday shifts with every other weekend required.
• Setting: Small, 24-bed secured assisted living memory care community.
• Staffing: Excellent staffing ratios – currently 4 staff members to 21 residents.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care and assistance with activities of daily living.
• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Provide mealtime assistance, including serving meals and assisting residents as needed.
• Assist with light housekeeping, cleaning, and maintaining a clean, organized living environment.
• Support residents with activities, daily routines, and meaningful social engagement.
• Monitor residents and communicate changes in condition to appropriate team members.
• Complete required documentation and charting.
• Help maintain a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for residents.

Qualifications

• CNA certification preferred; experienced Resident Assistants are encouraged to apply.
• Previous experience in assisted living, memory care, or senior care is preferred.
• Strong English speaking, reading, and writing skills are required for effective communication with residents, families, and team members.
• Dependable, compassionate, and patient.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A genuine desire to make a positive difference in the lives of others.
