is hiring a Part-Time Personal Care Assistant position in the West Columbia area.

*Assignment Details*

The client is a 20 y/o male diagnosed with Charge Syndrome needing total assistance with ADLs such as grooming, dressing, etc. Along with overall companionship and encouragement. He is non-verbal, but can communication with a digital device.

Schedule is 12hrs per week - Monday/Thursday: 3:30pm-6:30pm and Saturday 10am-2pm,

Responsibilities

Offer companionship and conversation
Assistance with various Activities of Daily Living duties (*bathing, dressing, and grooming, etc*.) depending on the level of care of the client.
Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
Document care and communicate effectively with families and healthcare professionals
Uphold HIPAA compliance and protect client confidentiality

Requirements to Join Our Family

HHA, PCA, or CNA Certification preferred, but not required
Alzheimer's or Dementia experience is a plus, but not required
At least one (1) year of documented caregiver experience
Must be reliable, dependable and on time
Valid drivers license, reliable transportation, means of communication
Must be able to provide compassionate, quality and dependable home care services
Must be able to stand walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
