Companion Caregiver — Cognitive Impairment Experience Required | Worcester, MA

Allure Home Care | Part-Time / Split Shifts Available | $24/hour

Allure Home Care is seeking compassionate and proactive Companions to provide 1:1 engagement and support to a 95-year-old female client with mild to moderate cognitive impairment, residing in a Retirement Community in Worcester, MA (01609).

Schedule

Daily, 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM (8 hours/day) — shift can be split between 2–3 Companions

Responsibilities

• Plan and organize social outings including visits to local markets, shops, the nail salon, and coffee outings
• Encourage and accompany client to in-house activities and social events within the community
• Encourage attendance at meals in the dining room and assist with ordering meal delivery to the apartment as needed
• Medication reminders
• Light housekeeping

Requirements

• Experience working with elderly individuals — required
• Experience working with cognitive impairment or dementia — required
• Proactive, organized, and socially engaging personality
• Reliable personal vehicle and valid driver's license — required

Compensation

$24.00 per hour
