Companion Caregiver

At ComForCare Home Care, we are seeking a compassionate and dedicated person to join our team. In this vital role, you will provide support and assistance to individuals with diverse needs. Overview

• Part-time Position (between 9am to 3pm)
• Experiences not required, full training is available
• Two references required from previous employer/supervisor
• Required driving license with auto mobile insurance.

Responsibilities

• Help seniors/elderly with daily living activities, including dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Monitor their health and well-being, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times.
• Assist individuals in social interactions and community engagement to promote social skills and inclusion.
• Observe and document changes in clients' behavior or condition, reporting any concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, families, and other caregivers to develop individualized care plans.
• Support clients in achieving their personal goals through encouragement and skill-building activities.
• Maintain a clean and organized living environment for clients, ensuring their comfort and dignity.

Requirements

• Experience with senior people or training in caregiving, assisted living, or related fields is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with clients, families, and team members.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others are essential qualities for success in this role.
