Role Overview

As a Caregiver at Assisting Hands Home Care, you will play a crucial role in providing in-home nonmedical care to clients in the Phoenix area. You will collaborate closely with a supportive team to deliver personalized care that enhances our clients' quality of life. Whether you're assisting with daily living activities or providing emotional support, you'll be a valuable member of our caregiving team.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and support to clients, ensuring their emotional and physical needs are met.
• Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and light housekeeping.
• Provide medication reminders and assist clients with technology as needed.
• Monitor client safety and wellbeing, providing standby assistance while walking and during transfers.
• Maintain a respectful and compassionate environment that promotes client dignity and independence.

Qualifications

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

• At least one year of professional caregiving experience.
• Possess strong communication skills and the ability to engage with clients patiently and positively.
• Ability to follow instructions and provide assistance with physical transfers.

Bonus If You

* Have training or experience in specialized care techniques related to dementia or Parkinson's.

Employment Type & Availability

This client specifically has a schedule of Thursdays and Fridays from 8 am to 8 pm. *We can also staff you with other clients for more hours.*
