Duties

• Assist individuals with disabilities with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobilities
• Implement behavior management strategies to encourage positive conduct and address behavioral challenges effectively
• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living such as bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting to promote comfort and independence.
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal planning and cooking to support overall health.
• Support residents with mobility using equipment such as Hoyer lifts or assisting with heavy lifting to ensure safety during transfers.
• Maintain a clean environment by performing light housekeeping duties including cleaning patient areas, laundry, and general sanitation tasks in compliance with health standards.

Skills

• Proven experience working with Older adults and individuals with disabilities in home settings and similar environments
• Strong communication skills to effectively teach, guide, and interact with clients and their families
• Compassionate attitude with patience and adaptability to meet diverse needs
• Familiarity with behavior management techniques and creating nurturing environments for young children
