* Job Description

Your caregiver duties may vary each day, but some basic tasks remain the same when caring for a client. Primarily assuring that all policies and procedures are observed throughout the assignment for in-home care. Having a professional and compassionate demeanor will treating our clients like family. It is satisfying and rewarding caring for disabled or elderly individuals who are thankful for high-quality assistance. The ideal candidate will be patient and friendly with excellent communication skills. You should be able to follow instructions and perform a variety of tasks to help clients. * * Job Duties

• Help clients take prescribed medication.
• Assist clients with mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.)
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able)
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion
• Report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
• All Other duties as assigned

* * Qualifications * *

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid (CPR)
• Proven experience as a caregiver
• Be able to lift to 30 pounds
• Keep accurate records of all assigned schedules and hours worked
• Maintain confidentiality with our Clients
• Participate in scheduled Caregiver meetings
• Be able to pass a criminal background check
