Job Summary

We’re hiring a Driver/Caregiver to safely transport clients to and from the facility and assist with their daily care needs while at the center. This dual role ensures our clients are supported with kindness and respect from the moment they are picked up until they return home.

Key Responsibilities

As a Driver

• Safely transport clients to and from the facility, medical appointments, and outings.
• Assist clients in and out of the vehicle.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Keep vehicles clean, fueled, and in good working order.
• Report any incidents, traffic violations, or vehicle issues promptly.
• Deliver food, supplies, and important materials when needed.

As a Caregiver

• Provide hands-on care and supervision throughout the day.
• Assist with personal hygiene, grooming, and toileting.
• Support clients during meals and ensure dietary needs are followed.
• Engage clients in activities and encourage social interaction.
• Monitor and report any changes in behavior, health, or mood.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment.
• Accurately document medication administration and care updates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• 1+ year of driving experience and caregiving experience preferred
• CDL Class B with Passenger Endorsement (Required)
• Clean driving record
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable
• Strong communication skills and a team player
• Must pass a background check and drug screening
• Ability to work independently and follow care plans
• Flexibility to assist with additional facility needs as required
