Assist individuals with disabilities with their daily living and independence skills/personal care (may include grooming, bathing, feeding, etc.).

Job Summary

EROS Services, LLC is an approved contract service provider through the NJ Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD). EROS Services, LLC provides distinctly unique support to adults ages 21 and older to meet the varied needs of county residents with disabilities.

We are recruiting for the below services in the following counties (1) Essex, (2) Union, (3) Morris, (4) Middlesex, (5) Bergen, and (6) Warren):

• Individual Supports
• Career Planning
• Community-Based Supports
• Community Inclusion Services
• Respite
• Supported Employment

All applicants are required to provide companionship, personal care, LOVE, and other tasks as outlined by the client’s service plan.

Requirements to be a “Direct Support Professional”

• Ensure the safety of clients at all times
• Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
• Complete a criminal/registry background checks and drug screen
• CPR/First Aid Certified
• Division mandated training
• Desire to make a difference
• Professionalism

General Accountabilities

• Actively working with the individuals we serve to help them achieve their personal goals and record their progress.
• Medication administration and documentation (if applicable).
• Responding to crisis situations responsibly and appropriately
• Support the clients in living an independent and productive life.
• Assist with activities of daily living and personal self-care such as toileting, eating, grooming, bathing and dressing, etc.
