Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated FEMALE individual. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our special needs daughter in a home setting working 1 on 1. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care, adherence to HIPAA regulations, and the ability to work effectively as part of a caregiving plan. You must not be afraid of dogs (we have a dog).

Duties

Assist her with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
Implement and follow individualized care plan.
Support her with mobility and lifting as needed, ensuring her comfort and safety.
Monitor her health status and report any changes or concerns promptly.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the living environment.
Engage with her in meaningful activities that promote her physical and emotional well-being.

Qualifications

Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus.
Knowledge of caregiving practices, including CPR certification, is highly desirable.
Ability to prepare meals that meet dietary needs and preferences of her.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a home environment.
Compassionate demeanor and a genuine desire to help her improve quality of life.
