Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support to enhance their quality of life.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to foster a positive and engaging environment for clients.
• Administer medication reminders and ensure adherence to prescribed treatment plans under supervision.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks including laundry, meal preparation, and maintaining a safe, clean living space.
• Monitor clients’ health status and report any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals or family members promptly.
• Support clients with mobility and transfer assistance using proper techniques to ensure safety.
• Maintain detailed documentation of care provided and any incidents or observations during visits.

Requirements

• Prior experience in healthcare settings such as Level II trauma centers, hospital medicine, emergency medicine, or similar environments is highly valued.
• Knowledge of geriatrics, medical-surgical care, post-acute care, outpatient clinics, and sub-acute care settings is preferred.
• Experience working with diverse populations including elderly patients or those in inpatient or outpatient environments enhances your effectiveness.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to follow detailed care plans are essential.
• Certification in CPR and first aid is preferred; willingness to obtain relevant certifications if not already held.
