Float Caregiver — Part-Time

Job Summary

Lumicent Home Care is seeking a dependable, organized, and compassionate Float Caregiver to join our growing team.

The position will begin part-time with the potential to grow into a full-time role as our client base expands.

Applicants must hold a current Washington State HCA or CNA credential and be willing to provide hands-on client care when needed.

Responsibilities

Float Caregiver Duties

· Provide caregiver coverage when regular staff are unavailable

· Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs)

· Provide companionship and supervision

· Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping

· Provide mobility and transfer assistance within the caregiver's training and scope

· Assist with errands, shopping, and transportation as assigned

· Provide respite and other authorized non-medical home-care services

· Follow each client's plan of care

· Complete accurate and timely care documentation

· Report changes in client condition, safety concerns, or incidents promptly

Required Qualifications

· Current Washington State HCA or CNA credential — required

· Previous caregiving or home-care experience preferred

· Strong communication and organizational skills

· Ability to work independently and use good judgment

· Dependable, professional, and able to adapt to changing priorities

· Willing and able to provide direct client care as part of the position

· Ability to travel to client locations throughout Lumicent's service area

· Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance

· Ability to meet applicable Washington home-care employment and background requirements

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
