We’re seeking the right candidate for the position of Food Service Staff/Porter at St. Anthony's Gardens Assisted Living. In this vital role, you’ll ensure that our residents receive the highest level of care while collaborating with a dedicated team, providing exceptional clinical leadership and support.

What You Bring to the Table

*Essential Qualifications:*

* + Keep all kitchen work surfaces clean and sanitized. + Sweep and mop floors. + Clean and sanitize all food service equipment and surfaces. + Wash cookware, utensils, and cutlery. + Maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen area, including tables, chairs, and serving areas. Prepare and serve resident’s meals using proper food handling techniques. + Receive and unpack deliveries. + Maintaining order in storage areas. + Empty trash. + Follow all health and safety regulations. + Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner. + Other duties as assigned.

The Ideal Candidate

* + 6 months dietary services / cooking experience preferred + Knowledge of quality food prep and food service + Strong communication skills. + Strong organizational skills. + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. + Attention to detail. + Problem-solving skills. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Other Qualifications

* + Reliable and punctual. + Able to stand and walk for extended periods. + Ability to lift and carry items up to 25 pounds.
