HHA - Home Health Aide

We are a Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care Facility and looking for a Home Health Aide to join our dynamic team. We are a center who cater to children with disabilities. The job description of an HHA we are looking for typically includes the following responsibilities and duties. This position is ideally from 12pm -6:00pm Monday through Friday. Bilingual is preferred (English/Spanish). PPEC experience is preferred

Personal Care Assistance

: assist patients with personal care tasks such as, grooming, dressing, and toileting.

Meal Preparation

: assist in preparing and serve meals based on the client's dietary restrictions and preferences. They may also assist with feeding if required.

Light Housekeeping

: perform light office keeping tasks, such as cleaning and organizing office spaces and changing bed linens.

Monitoring Vital Signs

: Depending on patients health condition, HHAs may be required to monitor vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse rate, and temperature. They report any significant changes to a healthcare professional.

Companionship

: providing emotional support and companionship to clients. Engage in conversation, play games, or accompany clients on outings to reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation.

Safety Supervision

: Ensuring the safety of our patient is a top priority. Responsible for identifying and addressing potential safety hazards and assisting with fall prevention strategies.

Record Keeping

: Keeping accurate records of care provided, changes in the patients condition, and any observations is an important aspect of the job. These records help healthcare professionals assess the client's progress.

Communication

: Communicate regularly with the patients family members and healthcare team, providing updates on the patients condition and any concerns.
