Role Overview

As a Home Caregiver at Assisting Hands Greater Murray, you will be responsible for providing compassionate and personalized in-home care to clients in Salt Lake County, Utah. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with clients and their families to ensure their comfort and well-being while making a meaningful impact in your community. Whether you work full-time or part-time, you'll enjoy flexible scheduling tailored to client needs and your availability.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and engage in conversation with clients to build meaningful relationships.
• Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Remind clients to take medication as scheduled.
• Provide mobility and transfer assistance to promote safety.
• Assist with transportation and errands as required.
• Support clients in their daily activities while ensuring a comfortable home environment.

• A compassionate and dependable nature, commitment to helping others.
• Strong communication skills, both in English and Spanish.
• The ability to work independently in a client’s home.
• Reliable transportation to meet clients' needs.
• A willingness to meet all applicable state and federal caregiving regulations.

Bonus If You

• Have previous caregiving experience or certification.
• Possess additional languages, enhancing communication with diverse clients.

Employment Type & Availability

This is a Part-Time position with flexible scheduling available to meet client needs, including day, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts.

Location

This position is on-site only, based in Salt Lake City, Utah, serving clients in the Greater Murray area.
