Home Health Aide & Caregiver

Job Summary

Join our compassionate team as a Home Health Aide & Caregiver, where you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals in their homes and community settings. Duties

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary.
• Support clients with specialized care needs including Alzheimer’s care, dementia care, hospice support, catheter care, and memory care.
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and laundry to promote a safe and comfortable environment.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, fostering a positive environment that encourages independence and dignity.

Skills

• Strong patient observation skills to detect changes in condition or behavior promptly.
• Experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home & community care environments.
• Excellent communication skills for working effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Certified in CPR and first aid; additional certifications in dementia or Alzheimer’s care are a plus.
• Physical stamina to assist with patient mobility using tools like Hoyer lifts or other transfer devices.
