Home Health Aide/ Caregiver

*URGENTLY HIRING DAY and OVERNIGHT home health aides (HHA) in Perkasie.* Pay rate $20.00 to $22.50/HR.

12-hour DAY and OVERNIGHT shifts needed

Must be able to drive to & from Perkasie, PA

Responsibilities of a home health aide / caregiver

• Various personal care services as necessary to meet the patient’s needs
• Providing assistance with daily tasks, including but not limited to: transfers, ceiling lift, repositioning, linen changes, meal prep, hygiene, bed bathing, & light housekeeping
• Assisting client with active and passive mobility work defined by the plan of care, and documenting observed changes to the Director of Nursing

Requirements for caregivers and home health aides

• Minimum one (1) year of documented caregiver, home health aide or home care assistance experience required.
• High school diploma or GED
• Certified CPR and negative (2-STEP) TB skin test, chest x-ray or blood test
• Licensed driver with reliable automobile and proof of insurance
• Must be able to stand walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
