Home Health Aide

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide to provide exceptional care and support to individuals in their homes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient well-being, with experience in assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), medical procedures, and providing emotional support. As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will deliver personalized care that promotes independence, safety, and comfort for clients across diverse settings, including home health, hospice, and long-term care environments.

Duties

• Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and dignity.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and maintaining a safe environment for clients.
• Communicate effectively with clients and their families to ensure personalized care plans are followed and needs are met comprehensively.

Qualifications

• Prior experience working as a Home Health Aide or in assisted living, nursing home, or hospice settings is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to work with individuals with disabilities, developmental delays, or geriatric populations.
• Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform patient transfers using appropriate techniques such as Hoyer lifts or transfer methods.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Understanding of home health care regulations and compliance standards including HIPAA confidentiality requirements.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
