Home Health Aide for TBI Client

We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and experienced Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide in-home care for an individual living with a traumatic brain injury (TBI). This position is ideal for someone who is patient, attentive, and committed to supporting independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting)
• Provide mobility assistance and ensure a safe environment
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed
• Offer companionship and emotional support
• Remind and assist with medications (as permitted)
• Support cognitive activities and follow established care plans
• Monitor changes in condition and communicate concerns to family or healthcare providers
• Perform light housekeeping related to the client's care

Qualifications

• Current Home Health Aide (HHA) certification (or CNA, if applicable)
• Experience caring for individuals with traumatic brain injury, neurological conditions, or similar disabilities preferred
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred
• Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centered approach

Schedule

Monday, Wednesday, Friday 10-6 can be a little flexible; full-time and part-time opportunities available in surrounding areas.
