BrightStar Care is seeking compassionate, dependable, and experienced Home Health Aides (HHAs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and Caregivers for a potential upcoming home care assignment in Lansing, Michigan (48917).

This opportunity involves providing personalized, one-on-one care to a client in the comfort of their home.

The client's care needs and required weekly hours will be determined following an initial nursing assessment and payer authorization. We are proactively identifying qualified caregivers who would be interested in this assignment once the care schedule is finalized.

### Available Schedule

• Shift Length: To be determined based on the client's assessed care needs.
• Weekly Hours: Dependent on the nursing evaluation and authorized care plan.
• Days: Weekday and/or weekend shifts may be available.
• Start Date: To be confirmed following assessment, authorization, and completion of onboarding requirements.

Applicants will have an opportunity to discuss their preferred schedules and availability during the interview process.

### Key Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
• Support safe mobility, ambulation, and transfers as appropriate.
• Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and mealtime activities.
• Provide light housekeeping, laundry, and other approved household assistance.
• Offer companionship, supervision, and emotional support.
• Assist with errands, appointments, and transportation when authorized in the care plan.
• Monitor and promptly report changes in the client's condition to the supervising nurse.
• Maintain accurate and timely care documentation.
• Follow the individualized care plan established by the supervising nurse.
• Promote the client's safety, comfort, dignity, and independence.

### Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Home Health Aide, CNA, or Caregiver preferred.
• Experience assisting clients with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Ability to provide safe, compassionate, and professional personal care.
• Reliable transportation to and from the client's home.
• Valid driver's license and appropriate auto insurance if transportation duties are assigned.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, patient, punctual, and dependable.
• Ability to pass required background checks and employment screening.
• Ability to work independently in a home care environment.
• Flexibility to accommodate the client's finalized care schedule.

HHA or CNA certification is preferred but not required for otherwise qualified caregiver applicants, subject to applicable training and payer requirements.
