Job Summary

Nina's Home Healthcare is looking for an experienced HHA for a case in Newark that is 30 hers/week daily for a patient in need of personal care services. Please call 614-626-3177 if interested.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support using patient transfer methods such as Hoyer lifts when necessary
• Observe and report any changes in patient condition or behavior promptly to supervising healthcare professionals
• Provide companionship and emotional support to patients, fostering a caring environment that respects their dignity and privacy in compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and ensuring a safe living space for the patient
• Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) or Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems efficiently to update medical records and document patient care activities accurately

Requirements

* Proven experience working as a Home Health Aide or in assisted living, nursing homes, or long-term care settings
