Description

As a Home Health Aide Trainee, you will participate in a structured certification program designed to prepare you for a Home Health Aide role. Upon successful completion of all training requirements, you will be promoted to a Home Health Aide position.

As a Home Health Aide Trainee, You Will

• Complete all required online coursework and certification requirements within 21 calendar days of hire.
• Complete 16 hours of clinical training within the first 10 business days.
• Participate in skills training, competency evaluations, and certification activities.
• Accurately record and submit all training and work hours.
• Maintain regular attendance and attend all scheduled training sessions.
• Follow all scheduling, timekeeping, and program requirements.

Important

This is a training-only position. Trainees are not permitted to provide patient care or interact with patients until all training requirements have been successfully completed and promotion to Home Health Aide has occurred.

Requirements

• Meet all applicable employment and Home Health Aide training eligibility requirements.
• Successfully complete required background checks, health screenings, and employment verification.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Effective communication skills and a commitment to learning.
• Ability to complete all required training and competency evaluations within established deadlines.
• Reliable attendance and professionalism.
