Responsibilities and Duties

• Support individuals in maintaining their independence through one-on-one care
• Teaching adaptive skills
• Support wellness activities
• Facilitate community participation
• Prepare meals and snacks
• Light housekeeping
• Companionship
• Update team leads and case mangers

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience – homecare, direct care position, working w/ individuals w/ disabilities, seniors, dementia, etc– A Plus!
• A passion to help others
• Superior interpersonal skills
• Effective communication skills
• Unwavering patience
• Willing to travel
• Valid MN Driver License and Insured Driver
• Must pass a background check & comfortable with DHS fingerprinting
