In Home Caregiver

Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In-Home Caregiver to provide personalized support in a private residence conveniently located in central Fairbanks.

In this rewarding role, you will assist with daily living activities, promote independence, and help ensure the client's safety and well-being in the comfort of their home. The position offers a meaningful opportunity to make a positive difference in the life of an individual who uses a wheelchair by delivering attentive, high-quality care.

Hours

• Monday - Friday (7:30am - 1:30pm)
• Saturdays occasionally (8:00am - 1:00pm)

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility support and meals.
• Operate patient transfer methods such as Hoyer lifts and manual handling techniques to ensure safe movement and prevent injury.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks like cleaning, laundry, and organizing personal spaces.

Experience

• No experience necessary.
• Training will be provided for all job duties.
• Prior experience working in home health care, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or group homes is highly valued.

Requirements

• Must be reliable and someone who shows up on time for work consistently.
• Strong work ethic and a positive and caring attitude.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
• Must be 18 years old and pass a State background check.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid is required.

Pay: $28.00 per hour
