Attendant Care Aide (ATTC)
Reports To: Office Manager Purpose To assure client’s needs are met and service plan is followed as written.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as washing, dressing, toileting.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as dusting, vacuuming and changing bed linens.
- Assist in the safe lifting, transferring, repositioning and movement of clients.
- Assist with meal preparation.
- Transport clients and assist with running errands.
- Observe, monitor and record clients' physical and emotional well-being, and promptly report any changes to the office.
- Encourage clients to participate in social and recreational activities.
- Knows and follows infection control policies including proper hand washing techniques.
- Maintains appropriate communication with the office (written and verbal).
- Documents care given and pertinent observations accurately as directed by the office manager.
- Treats clients and families with respect. Maintains confidentiality.
- Accepts and fulfills assignments with the Agency. Exercises judgment in accepting assignments.
Other duties must be performed as assigned or required.
Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Experience
