Job Summary

As an In Home Caregiver, you’ll provide respectful, dependable support in clients’ homes and communities. You’ll assist with daily routines, follow care plans, and communicate changes in a client’s condition. Your impact: attentive, personalized care helps clients maintain comfort, dignity, and independence while giving families greater confidence in their support.

Duties

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), personal care, mobility, transfers, and safe manual handling; use a Hoyer lift only if trained and authorized.
• Prepare meals, cook, clean, and provide personal transportation assistance as assigned.
• Observe and monitor clients, including vital signs when required, and promptly report changes.
• Follow care plans, medication instructions, infection-control practices, the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), and residents’ rights.
• Provide direct support and compassionate care for older adults and people with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia; assignments may include home health, memory care, or hospice support.

Qualifications

• Caregiving, patient care, client communication, and patient personal care assistance skills.
• Relevant experience may include home care, home and community care, group homes, assisted living, nursing homes, long-term care, senior care, geriatrics, nursing, or hospice care.
• Able to perform patient observation, patient monitoring, patient transfer methods, and tasks such as light housekeeping, as required for assigned care.

Pay: $16.50 per hour

Expected hours: 12.0 – 40.0 per week
